Do my customers need DMNexa to view an order?
Learn how the public DMNexa order link works and what customers can see without creating a DMNexa seller account.
No. Customers do not need a DMNexa seller subscription to open the public order link a seller sends. The seller account owns and manages the order.
DMNexa is a seller workspace. Your customer does not need to become a DMNexa user just to review the organized order you send them.
What the customer receives
After you approve a draft and choose to send the link, the customer receives a message in the supported connected conversation. The link opens a public, read-only order page designed to summarize the order clearly.
Depending on the information in the order, that summary can include:
- Seller and order identity.
- Items, quantities, and item notes.
- Pickup or delivery information.
- Due date and order status.
- Price summary and payment or deposit information where available.
The page is intentionally separate from the seller dashboard. It does not expose your full inbox or business workspace.
What the customer should do
Ask the customer to check the details and message you if something is wrong. The seller remains responsible for editing the source order and confirming any revision.
The order page does not automatically replace your refund, payment, delivery, or cancellation policy. Communicate those terms through the appropriate policy and payment process for your business.
Why a link helps
A link gives the customer one readable version without requiring them to locate several older messages. It also lets the seller update and manage the actual order record instead of maintaining a separate typed summary.
For the seller workflow, read Approve and send an order link.
Frequently asked questions
Does a customer have to install an app?
No. The customer-facing order link opens as a web page on a supported browser.
Can a customer edit the seller's order from the public page?
The public page presents the seller-approved order information. Order changes should be agreed with the seller, who controls the order record.
Should the seller share a draft link?
DMNexa's normal conversation workflow is to review and approve the draft first, then send the customer-facing link.
This page is maintained from the current DMNexa product behavior. If your screen looks different, check for an app update or contact support.
