Customer conversations, AI, and privacy in DMNexa

Understand what customer information DMNexa uses for order workflows, why seller access matters, and how to use conversation AI responsibly.

Short answer

DMNexa stores supported connected-channel messages and order data so the seller can manage conversations and create drafts. The seller should connect only an authorized business account, limit access to trusted users, review data practices, and avoid collecting unnecessary sensitive information.

Using AI with customer conversations creates a responsibility to collect only what the order needs, protect account access, and understand where the data goes.

What DMNexa needs for the workflow

After a seller authorizes a supported Instagram professional account, DMNexa receives and stores supported conversation events so the inbox and order tools can work. When the seller creates a draft, the recent conversation context is analyzed to organize order details.

The resulting order can contain customer contact information, item requests, fulfillment details, dates, addresses, pricing, and notes supplied or entered during the workflow.

For the current legal description of handling, retention, subprocessors, and rights, read the DMNexa Privacy Policy and Subprocessors page. Those pages—not a marketing guide—are the controlling references.

Connect accounts through the official flow

DMNexa uses Meta authorization for Instagram. Do not send your Instagram password to support or place it in a DMNexa order note. Review the permissions shown by Meta and keep the connected account under your business control.

Minimize sensitive data

Ask for the smallest amount of customer information needed to fulfill the order. A delivery order may need an address and phone number; a pickup order may not.

Do not use a normal order conversation to collect full card numbers, passwords, government identifiers, or unrelated medical information. Allergy or accessibility notes that are necessary for fulfillment should be handled carefully and according to your own legal and safety obligations.

Keep seller access secure

  • Use a unique password and protect the email account tied to your DMNexa login.
  • Enable Face ID or fingerprint sign-in on a supported personal device if it fits your security needs.
  • Sign out of shared devices.
  • Disconnect channels you no longer use.
  • Delete the account when the service is no longer needed and follow any required business record-retention rules.

AI does not remove your responsibility

An AI-generated warning or summary is not a privacy, safety, or legal decision. The seller decides what to collect, what to place in an order, who can access the account, and whether a request is appropriate to fulfill.

Frequently asked questions

Does DMNexa need my Instagram password?

No. Instagram connection uses Meta's authorization flow. You sign in and approve access with Meta rather than giving DMNexa your Instagram password.

Should customers send sensitive information in DMs?

Avoid asking for information that is not necessary for the order. Payment card details, government identifiers, medical records, and other highly sensitive data should use an appropriate secure process.

Can I request account deletion?

Yes. DMNexa provides an in-app deletion path and a public data-deletion page explaining the request process.
