Understand Shopify billing for DMNexa

Learn when a Shopify-connected seller subscribes through Shopify, where approval occurs, and how an existing subscription provider affects billing.

Short answer

A Shopify-connected seller without an existing subscription managed elsewhere may be directed to approve DMNexa billing in Shopify. Manage that subscription through Shopify Admin.

Shopify controls billing for eligible merchants who subscribe through the connected store.

When Shopify billing is offered

If Shopify is actively connected and the DMNexa subscription is not already managed by Stripe or another protected provider, the Plans screen can direct the seller to Shopify’s approval flow.

Review the plan, price, billing interval, and Shopify terms before accepting. DMNexa updates access after Shopify reports the approved subscription.

Manage or cancel

Open the relevant app or subscription area in Shopify Admin. Provider-managed subscription changes must be completed with that provider; DMNexa cannot bypass Shopify’s billing controls.

If you already subscribed elsewhere

The Plans and Billing section reports which provider manages the subscription and presents the action available on the current device. Avoid trying to buy the same service through a second provider. If the provider shown is wrong, contact support before making another purchase.

Disconnecting Shopify does not automatically erase existing order or Wallet records, and subscription management may still require action through the provider that created the charge.

Frequently asked questions

Will DMNexa create a second subscription if I already pay through another provider?

The billing system is designed to preserve the existing active provider and direct management to that provider rather than silently creating another subscription.

Where do I cancel Shopify billing?

Use the subscription or app management controls available in Shopify Admin and follow the terms shown by Shopify.
