Understand DMNexa order statuses
Learn what each DMNexa order status means, how orders move through fulfillment, and how the Orders filters group active and finished work.
Draft is being reviewed; Confirmed and In Progress appear as active work; Paused is held; Completed appears under Done; Cancelled will not proceed. Confirmed orders do not move back to Draft.
Statuses make the Orders list useful as a work queue.
Status meanings
- Draft: The order exists but is still being analyzed, edited, or verified. AI-created orders always begin here.
- Confirmed: The seller has accepted the reviewed order.
- Paused: Work is intentionally on hold.
- In Progress: Production or fulfillment is active.
- Completed: The work or handoff is finished.
- Cancelled: The order will not proceed.
Normal movement
A typical path is:
Draft → Confirmed → In Progress → Completed
Use Paused when confirmed work is temporarily blocked but not cancelled. Any appropriate active order can be cancelled when the work will no longer proceed.
Confirmed orders cannot return to Draft because approval is a meaningful seller action. If something changes, edit the existing confirmed record and communicate the change rather than pretending it was never confirmed.
Filter the Orders list
Use the filter pills to make the list a smaller work queue:
- All: every current order returned for the seller.
- Active: Confirmed and In Progress work.
- Paused: orders intentionally on hold.
- Done: Completed orders.
- Draft: orders still waiting for seller review.
- Cancelled: orders that will not proceed.
DMNexa applies the selected status group when it requests the list. Pull to refresh on mobile when you need the latest order data.
Status is not payment
An order can be Confirmed while payment is still pending, or Completed while a remaining balance needs follow-up. Use the payment or deposit control separately so fulfillment and money do not become confused.
Frequently asked questions
Can a confirmed order return to Draft?
No. Draft is the pre-approval state. Edit the confirmed order, pause it, continue fulfillment, or cancel it as appropriate.
Does Completed mean fully paid?
Not automatically. Fulfillment status and payment or deposit tracking are separate.
