Add or edit customer details on an order
Manage customer name, phone, email, and conversation identity without treating an Instagram username as verified contact information.
Open the order, edit the Customer section, enter only verified name and contact details, and save. A social username can identify the conversation but may not be the customer’s preferred order name.
Customer fields support fulfillment and follow-up. They should be accurate, minimal, and distinct from the public social identity.
Edit the customer
- Open the order or Draft review.
- Find the Customer card.
- Select Edit.
- Add or correct the name, phone, and email that are relevant to the order.
- Save the changes.
Why fields may be empty
Instagram may provide a username or profile label, but that is not always a verified legal name, pickup name, phone, or email. DMNexa can leave these values unset rather than presenting an unreliable guess.
Ask the customer when a field is required for delivery or handoff. Do not collect phone or email merely to make the card look complete.
Keep conversation identity and order identity clear
The connected platform identity helps link the order back to the conversation. The customer fields describe the person or contact for this specific order. Update the order if the pickup person, recipient, or delivery contact is different.
Review the privacy guide before collecting sensitive customer information.
Frequently asked questions
Why does a customer show as Not set?
DMNexa may not have a reliable value from the conversation or connected profile. Enter the information after you verify it with the customer.
Should I copy all profile information into the order?
No. Store only what is relevant and appropriate for fulfilling the order.
