Create a manual order

Enter customer, item, due-date, fulfillment, pricing, and note details directly when AI analysis is unnecessary.

Short answer

From Orders, choose the manual option, fill the known order fields, save the draft, and review it before changing the order to Confirmed.

Manual entry is the most direct path when you already know the exact order details.

Create the order

  1. Open Orders.
  2. Choose the add or create action.
  3. Select Manual order.
  4. Enter the customer details you can verify.
  5. Add each item, quantity, price, and relevant item notes.
  6. Set pickup or delivery, address when needed, and due date.
  7. Add shipping, discount, total, and order notes as appropriate.
  8. Save the order.

The exact form layout can differ by screen size, but the saved order follows the same draft-review destination as other creation methods.

Avoid filling unknown values with guesses

Leave a field empty or note that it is unconfirmed when the customer has not answered. A complete-looking order is not more useful if the information is unreliable.

Review and confirm

Read the saved draft as a complete summary. Check price math, delivery address, and due date, then change it to Confirmed when you are ready to accept the work.

If you want DMNexa to organize a paragraph or voice description first, use Create an order with AI.

Frequently asked questions

Does a manual order still start as a draft?

Yes. The core workflow keeps new seller-created orders in Draft until the seller confirms them.

When is manual entry better than AI?

Use it when the order is already structured, details are short, or you want direct field-by-field control without interpretation.
