Connect Instagram to DMNexa
Follow the Instagram authorization flow, choose the correct professional account, and confirm that the DMNexa connection is active.
Open More, choose Connect, select Instagram, continue to Meta, authorize the professional account, and return to DMNexa to confirm the connection shows as active.
Connect the account
- Sign in to DMNexa.
- Open More → Connect. On wider web layouts, Connect may be directly available.
- Select the Instagram connection action.
- Continue to Meta’s authorization page.
- Sign in to the Meta identity that manages your Instagram professional account.
- Select the correct account and approve the requested permissions.
- Return to DMNexa and wait for the connection status to update.
Do not close the authorization screen until Meta has redirected you back or shown completion.
Verify the result
The Connect area should show the intended Instagram identity and an active connection status. New supported message events can then appear in Messages.
Send a normal test message from a different Instagram account if you need to verify delivery. Allow a short period for the event to arrive, then refresh Messages.
If connection fails
- Confirm the account meets the Instagram requirements.
- Retry in a browser that allows the authorization window.
- Make sure you selected the correct Meta identity.
- If the screen says the connection expired or needs attention, follow Reconnect Instagram.
Never send your Instagram or Meta password to DMNexa support. Include only the error text, approximate time, device, browser or app version, and the public username when asking for help.
