Change location, currency, and timezone
Update country, city or service area, default currency, and timezone so orders, reminders, and business summaries use the right context.
In Settings, edit Location & Currency, choose your country, enter the city or area, verify the suggested currency and timezone, and save.
Correct location settings improve defaults without forcing you to accept an inaccurate assumption.
Edit location
- Open More → Settings.
- Find Location & Currency and choose Edit.
- Select the country.
- Enter the city or service area.
- Verify the currency and timezone suggested from the country.
- Change either suggestion if needed, then save.
Country and city are required for this settings section. Currency uses a standard three-letter code, and timezone uses a recognized regional timezone.
Where these values matter
- Currency becomes the default context for new orders and business amounts.
- Timezone supports correct local interpretation of dates and scheduled reminders.
- Location and fulfillment context appear in AI Brain summary information.
- Country can prefill address context, but it never replaces a full customer delivery address.
If Shopify is connected, supported store currency information can become authoritative for the connected store workflow. Review Settings after connecting if currency is important to your reporting.
Frequently asked questions
Why did currency and timezone change when I chose a country?
DMNexa uses smart country-based suggestions. Review and override them before saving if your business uses a different currency or timezone.
Does changing currency convert old orders?
Do not assume so. Existing records generally preserve the currency in which they were recorded, while the new default affects future entry and display contexts.
