Edit, settle, or remove a Wallet transaction
Correct a Wallet entry, change its pending or settled status, open a linked order, or remove a mistaken transaction.
Open Wallet, select the transaction, and use Edit on the Transaction or Note card. Use the Status card to mark money received, paid, pending, or unpaid, and use Remove Transaction only for an entry that should no longer count.
Open a Wallet transaction when its amount, date, status, or note no longer matches the business record.
Edit transaction details
- Open Wallet.
- Select the income or expense entry.
- In the Transaction card, choose Edit.
- Correct the category, amount, currency, date, or—on an expense—the quantity and unit.
- Choose Save.
If the transaction uses a different currency from the seller’s default, DMNexa refreshes the converted value when the amount or currency changes. The original amount and currency remain visible on the entry.
Use the separate Note card to add or correct supporting context.
Change pending or settled status
The Status card uses business-friendly labels:
- Pending income can be marked Received when the money arrives.
- Received income can be returned to Pending if it was marked too early.
- An owed expense can be marked Paid after reimbursement or payment.
- A paid expense can be returned to Unpaid when a correction is needed.
Status affects the main balance and pending or owed summaries. It does not change the related order’s fulfillment or deposit status.
Open a linked order
When an income entry was linked to a DMNexa order at creation, the detail page includes View order. Use it to compare the transaction with the seller’s order record. The link is read-only on this page.
Remove a mistaken entry
Choose Remove Transaction and confirm only when the entry should no longer count. DMNexa removes it from the normal Wallet list and balance calculations.
Transaction type and the original paid-by identity are not editable on the detail page. If either is wrong, remove the entry and create a corrected one. Keep legally required financial records in the appropriate accounting system; Wallet is an operational ledger, not full bookkeeping.
Frequently asked questions
Can I undo a Wallet status change?
Yes. A received or paid transaction can be changed back to pending or unpaid if it was settled by mistake.
Can I change an income transaction into an expense?
No. Remove the incorrect entry and create a new transaction with the correct type.
Does removing a transaction change the Wallet balance?
Yes. The removed entry no longer appears in the normal Wallet list or balance calculations, and the removal cannot be undone in the app.
