Add, edit, or remove AI Brain rules
Keep the order-review checklist aligned with your real business by managing generated and custom AI Brain rules.
Open Settings, choose AI Brain, edit the visible rule list, save changes, and test a representative request. Rules should describe details to check—not invent customer facts or automatic approvals.
Use rules as a review checklist for information your business repeatedly needs.
Edit the rules
- Open More → Settings → AI Brain.
- Find Details your AI checks on every order.
- Edit an existing rule, add a new one, or remove an outdated rule.
- Save the change.
- Use the test area with a representative sample request.
Changes use quick optimistic updates in the app; if saving fails, DMNexa restores the previous value and shows an error.
Write clear rules
Good examples:
- Flag a delivery order with no complete address.
- Ask for guest count before confirming catering.
- Check personalization spelling before production.
- Warn when the requested date is inside the normal lead time.
Avoid vague or impossible instructions such as “never make a mistake,” “always know the price,” or “approve good customers automatically.”
Understand generated rules
Some rules come from onboarding answers. If an onboarding answer is wrong, update it in the AI Brain flow so regenerated knowledge has the correct source. Remove contradictions between generated rules and custom instructions.
Frequently asked questions
What makes a useful rule?
A useful rule is specific, observable in an order conversation, and important before acceptance, such as verifying guest count for catering or dimensions for a custom item.
Can a rule force AI to know a missing value?
No. A rule can ask the review to flag the absence, but it cannot supply reliable customer intent.
